ONE DAY WE SPENT IN Croatia, we drove up to a city called Split, which is a totally different (but also cool) story than the one I'm about to tell. Then the next day, on the way back, we visited a canyon, and in the canyon was a COLD river. We got on our wetsuits and headed into the canyon with another group of people, jumping off rocks and cliffs if the water was deep enough. Even in our wetsuits, the water was FREEZING COLD. In some places, according to our group's tour guide, the water was 370 feet deep-probably the deepest water I ever swam in. Also the coldest. The trip took about 3 hours, and a lifetime of memory. This was one of the better parts of our trip, especially when we were in the sun during the second half of our trip. At one point, there was a big waterfall, and we had to go through a 1/2 mile or so long tunnel to avoid it. It was really fun, and one of the best parts of the trip (although there are probably more fun adventures yet to come!
